The sun’s yellow disk slowly dropped toward the horizon, bringing an end to what was a magnificent sunset. Pelican beach made for a spectacular place from which to view the scene. The many picturesque rock formations and the multitude of conch shells by the beach created many options for the foreground to the photos. The disk of the sun was clearly outlined as it came down, as if it was being viewed through a special filter. It made for quite a striking spectacle, and a very memorable sunset.
