One of my favorite sights in Zion National Park is the color of the landscape. The red hue in the sand and rocks gives the sense of being in another world. I’ve often visited the park in winter months when snow coats the rock faces, enhancing the contrast of color. On this occasion, wonderful scenery accompanied us during this hike on Angel’s Landing trail. Sometimes a smaller portion of a landscape can represent the entire scene in a greater context, which I think is the case with this image.
