It was hard to choose a favorite out of all the images I captured of this incredible sunset at Loch Raven. The winter had been particularly cold and the water was mostly frozen over, but along the edges of the lake the ice formed a spectacular reticulated pattern. The sun’s reflection off the ice-coated surface of the water was intense, and the colors of the sunset suffused both the lake and the clouds above. The dramatic scenery created an impressive scene and gave me the opportunity to capture several nice images.
