Ladew Gardens, Maryland, contains beautiful gardens and topiary sculptures. I wandered into one of the tranquil gardens and took this image of two waterlily blossoms at the base of a slow flowing water fountain. The stunning flowers are the focus of the image, but the waterlily pads floating on the dark water make for a fitting backdrop as well.
