Chincoteague is a town on Chincoteague Island, located toward the southern part of Assateague Island. The town is quaint and within a short bike ride from the national wildlife refuge where there are paved trails and access to the beach. Just like Assateague Island, there are wild horses that can be seen roaming or grazing in the fields.
